Pour donner la date, on a besoin des nombres « ordinaux » : premier, deuxième, troisième… En anglais, on ajoute souvent « -th » à la fin, sauf pour les trois premiers.

Pour dire la date, on utilise la formule : « the » + ordinal + « of » + mois.
